Murals, trompe l'oeil and paint effects

A full range of paint effect is offered from simple colour washing to more complicated stone work and marbling. Paint effects can be used on their own or combined with stencilling or hand painting.

Drawings can be provided before work commences. This service carries a charge of approximately 10% of the finished project. This is non refundable but will be deducted from the final bill.

All Murals are charged at £250 a day plus expenses. As a guideline, some of the examples shown below also include the number of days taken to complete.

The simplicity of this design was perfect for an outdoor pool room. The addition of some real plants would complete it. Time taken 14 days.

This basement room made a perfect wine cellar in this Hampshire home, and the added space provided by the mural worked extremely well. A very enjoyable and original project to do.

This wonderful pool provided the perfect setting for a mural, completely transforming the bare plaster walls. The chosen theme complemented the surrounding countryside, and made for a relaxing back drop.

Unusual and very effective, the top half of this tiny bathroom was painted to resemble slabs of stone. The lower half was painstakingly reproduced from a photograph of Moroccan tiles. Time to complete 6 days.

This client wanted all the woodwork and plaster pillars in this striking hall, stairs and landing to have a marbled effect. Plaster cornice and moulded panels then had the details picked out in gold and the project was completed with the addition of hand painted red berries.

This lovely room opened onto the garden and had been fitted with a tiled bar imported from Morocco. Using the colours from this we first of all colour washed the walls, and then painted the tented ceiling. Lastly rope and tassels were hand painted for a truly three dimensional effect. Time to complete 10 days.

Keeping the colour scheme simple was the key to success in this small dining room. We first colour washed the walls and then added the arch and the urn. Glass topped tables with stone pillars completed this Greek theme. Time to complete 7 days.

This was a fun transformation of a nondescript bathroom. We simply took the design from the bathmat and reversed the colours. Time to complete 1 day.
